Has anyone seen how the internet is displayed on a mobile phone? I have and it's just crap.

Let me explain this (for those who haven't seen the service yet): I saw the bbc web site. All the data displayed on the phone was some 3-4 lines of text with, for example, the day's news. Well, it seems to me nothing new, if we think that you could have more or less the same service by using a pager. Two years ago. And in a less expensive way.

Now, in my opinion, this whole WAP thing is just something so useless (think also that in order to be viewable on the mobile, the website has to be coded in a certain way and you can't even use HTML as we know it) that I hope it will go down the toilet as soon as possible. The internet itself is so full of stuff (and s**t) and it's expanding, so we don't need new 'technologies'... until they will be really useful (i.e. read the whole news, rather than just 3-4 lines of text).

So... FUCK WAP! Don't you agree? Ok, let's fight!
